The Development

Firelight Lodge will be the only condominium project being developed at Silverstar Mountain Resort. There are no other proposed projects and there will not be any coming to the market for the next 3 or 4 years.

The development is being released in four phases with an eventual total of 125 apartments ranging from spacious studios to 3 bedroom and 2 bath condos. Currently there are only 16 condos available with the first 15 having sold out immediately! The next phase will not be released until the spring.

Firelight Lodge is located at The Ponds, which becomes the resorts outdoor skating rink in winter and it is also right next to "Tube Town" sledge park. The residence is ideally situated and will be the hub for all summer and winter activities taking place at Silver Star Mountain. Delivery of this project is scheduled for December 2009.

The Investment

At present there are fewer than 3,800 beds available at Siver Star Mountain compared with over 17,000 beds at the nearby Big White Resort. Silver Star Mountain is experiencing an acute accommodation shortage and as a result there is a huge demand for well valued and professionally managed property such as Firelight Lodge.

Last year saw another record year for property sales at Silver Star Mountain, effectively taking all the remaining properties off the market. According to Estate Agents at Silver Star Mountain,the value of resales alone at Silver Star Mountain, has already increased by 10% since the beginning of March of this year.

Silver Star Mountain Resort is committed to long term investment in its infrastructure. This is the 4th year in a row that Silver Star Mountain has added a new high-speed express lift to the ski area.

Prices

A 10% deposit is needed immediately with an additional 5% in September 2008. The remainder will not be due until completion in December 2009.
